Water Concierge

More than a job. A calling to serve.

At Liquid Eden, we believe mineral water is sacred healing medicine.

Since 2014, our mission has been to make  beautiful, mineral-rich drinking water accessible to our community while creating a peaceful sanctuary where every person feels welcomed, cared for, and uplifted.

If you’re looking for “just another retail job,” this probably isn’t it.

If you’re seeking meaningful work, love serving people, and feel called to contribute to something greater than yourself, we’d love to meet you.

About Liquid Eden

Liquid Eden is a locally owned, female-owned water store that has proudly served sacred healing mineral water to the San Diego community since 2014. Inspired by the work of Dr. Masaru Emoto, we believe our thoughts, words, intentions, and actions matter, and we strive to create a workplace rooted in kindness, presence, gratitude, and integrity. We strive to create a workplace rooted in kindness, presence, gratitude, integrity, and love because we believe the energy we cultivate influences both our customers’ experience and the water we lovingly provide.

Every day, we welcome people from all walks of life into our little sanctuary. Whether they’re here to refill their bottles or simply find a moment of peace, our intention is for every person to leave feeling just a little Lighter than when they arrived.

If you’re unfamiliar with Dr. Emoto’s work, we encourage you to learn about his philosophy before applying, as it is central to the heart of Liquid Eden.

About You

  • You are someone who naturally brings Light into a room.
  • You enjoy helping people and believe that even small interactions can make a meaningful difference in someone’s day.
  • You take pride in your work, notice what needs to be done without being asked.
  • You value honesty, peace, joy, responsibility, kindness, and personal growth.
  • You appreciate health, wellness, sustainability, and personal growth.
  • You enjoy learning, communicate warmly, and work well independently.
  • You take pride in creating beautiful, clean, organized spaces.
  • You understand that excellence isn’t found in grand gestures—it’s found in consistently doing the little things well.

You don’t need previous knowledge about water. We can teach you everything we know. What we can’t teach is integrity, responsibility, curiosity, and heart.

Because we believe water carries energy, we also believe the people who prepare and serve it matter. We are looking for someone who actively cares for their own inner well-being. Whether that means meditation, prayer, mindfulness, time in nature, healing arts, spiritual practice, or another path of self-awareness, we value individuals who intentionally cultivate peace, presence, and clarity in their own lives. You don’t need to be perfect. You simply recognize that who we are affects how we serve others.

Working Independently

One of the most unique aspects of being a Water Concierge is that you’ll work independently for most of your shift.

After completing 90 days of paid  training, you’ll often be the only team member in the store. There is no supervisor standing behind you, no micromanagement, no one reminding you what needs to be done every fifteen minutes.

Instead, you’ll be entrusted with something we consider a privilege: the opportunity to independently operate and care for Liquid Eden as if it were your own.

This requires what we call an employee-preneur mindset. An employee-preneur doesn’t simply complete assigned tasks. They take ownership, notice what needs to be done before someone asks, solve problems, and  think ahead.

  • They care deeply about the customer experience.
  • They protect and improve the business because they understand that every shift contributes to the long-term success of Liquid Eden.
  • If you thrive when trusted with responsibility, enjoy working independently, and naturally take initiative, you’ll likely love this role.

You’ll Love Working Here If You…

  • Love making people feel welcome.
  • Naturally notice what needs to be done.
  • Enjoy working independently.
  • Appreciate health, wellness, and sustainability.
  • Enjoy learning new things.
  • Value kindness over ego.
  • Find fulfillment in meaningful work.
  • Take ownership of your responsibilities.
  • Believe your work can positively impact your community.

This May Not Be The Right Fit If…

  • You’re looking for a short-term job.
  • You dislike customer interaction.
  • You prefer sitting for most of your shift.
  • Cleaning and maintaining beautiful spaces feels like a burden.
  • You struggle with punctuality or accountability.
  • You don’t thrive in a sales position.
  • If you are uncomfortable learning and using technology, as our Water Concierges regularly use iPads, Google Docs, Google Sheets, scheduling tools, POS systems, etc.
  • You’re uncomfortable discussing wellness or our philosophy with customers in a uplifting and sincere way.
  • You prefer constant supervision.
  • You wait to be told what to do.
  • Customer service drains your energy.

What You’ll Do

As a Water Concierge, you’ll help care for both our customers and our store.

A typical shift includes:

  • Opening or closing the store independently
  • Greeting every customer with warmth and loving kindness.
  • Educating customers about our mineral-rich water and bottles.

  • Keeping the store exceptionally clean, organized, and beautiful.
